Context + problem
A premium rug brand that needed to modernise craft without losing it.

Cadecorsa celebrates traditional rug-making while presenting it through a contemporary premium lens.
How could the brand feel modern and globally premium without detaching itself from the traditions and hands that give each rug its value?
The understanding
Craftsmanship is the source of premium value
The hand-making process is not background information; it is part of what makes the product valuable.
Customization should feel like co-creation
The opportunity was not simply to offer options, but to create a relationship between Designer, Customer & Artisan
Heritage needed a contemporary expression
The brand could reference culture, script, fibre, and material without becoming nostalgic or ornamental.

The product’s real value is not only how it looks, it is how it is made, who makes it, and the story it carries.
Strategic idea
Premium value through craftsmanship.

Brand belief
This isn’t just décor; it’s biography.
Cadecorsa makes craftsmanship the source of luxury rather than a supporting production story.

Co-created, not merely customized.

Logo breakdown
A mark shaped by script, thread and craft.

Logo system
A flexible set of lockups allows the identity to move across labels, signage, social, packaging, and digital environments.

Color palette
Warm reds, saffron, moss, taupe, sea-salt neutrals, and dyed accents move the identity away from generic black-and-gold luxury.
The palette feels closer to pigment, fibre, earth, and dyed material.

Typography
The pairing balances editorial character with contemporary clarity.
GT Ultra carries story. Work Sans carries structure.
Pattern + graphic language
The pattern system extends the flowing forms of the identity into a secondary surface language for packaging, social, and editorial use.

Social media strategy
Social becomes a place to show the culture around the object, not just the object itself.
Takeaway
Heritage brands become stronger when tradition is treated as a living system, not simply as a visual reference.
If developed further, the biggest opportunity would be to make the co-creation experience as tangible as the visual identity through customization journeys, provenance, maker stories, and a complete digital purchase experience.
